First Big Test Completed

We're now almost a month after finishing SoCNoC, so here's my analysis of how Zaapt fared in it's first big test.

Over at KiwiWriters, we had a big event on during June - SoCNoC. We had 60 people take part, 16 finished and we reached almost 1 million collective words. So overall from a site point of view, it was a huge success.

But what about from a Zaapt point of view? Well, that too was a big test and it passed it with flying colours. Overall we have over 30,000 hits over the course of the month. That's just pages though, I'm not including graphics, stylesheets or javascript. Nor am I including the dynamically created graphics either, so in all honesty, the combination of Perl/Mason/Zaapt probably served up well over 100,000 different items, if not a lot more.

Now that SoCNoC is out of the way, I have started hacking on Zaapt again and hope that a nice shiny gallery/picture model comes out of these woods in the next few weeks.
